Daym y9df ykon blcamp, and we always get together to celebrate it.
Today we're going to camp out in the forest as homework to hiking class. We had to set up our own tents, make our own fire and everything.
We were at reem’s room getting her things ready for tonight since Jenna and I were already done. Faisal was there getting his hoodie back from Reem.
Me: “No surprises this year please, I just want the day to get over with okay?”
Reem: “Leeh enti mara weirdo? Awl mra ashof bnt ma yhmha her birthday”
Me: “Mo weirdo.”
Faisal while throwing piles of clothes on the floor looking for his jacket
I grinned: “Shokran, hatha elii abi asm3a.”

It was so crowded and there were tents everywhere. We decided to set up our camps by the lake since it was less crowded.
Reem, Jenna, and I shared a tent.
Faisal, his roommate Turki, and Bandar shared a tent.
I had no idea how to set this tent up and Reem and Jenna kept fighting about how to do it.
Bandar: “Agdar asa3dkm if you guys would like.”
Jenna: “No, I know how to do it. Bs law tsm3 klami Reem o we do it my way.”
Reem: “It’s not how they showed us! bt6ee7 your way mra7 tkoon thabtah.”
Jenna: “I don’t care keef swooha, this way a7sn.”
And they started bickering all over again.
Me: “Ana broo7 adwr 76b for the fire.”
5tht kees 5eesh with me and headed back to the woods.
I was walking up the mountain and couldn’t help but stop and stare at this beautiful view. It really was breathtaking.
...: “Esh ga3da tsween?”
I turned around, oo 3fst wjhii: “Are you following me now?”
Saud laughed: “La mn jd.”
Me: “Wala shy.”
I turned back around and started walking again.
Saud: “Ween ray7a?”
Me: “Esh d5lk.”
Saud: “Alah alah leeh kitha?”
Me: “l2n 9idg shd5lk.”
He didn’t say anything so I felt kind of guilty.
Me: “Bjeb 76b 7g elnar.”
Saud: “Bsa3dk.”
Me: “No.”
Saud: “That wasn’t a question. 36eeni asheel elkes 3nk”
Me: “La 3adi.”
Saud: “Enti ma t3rfeen klmat ee?”
I smiled.
Saud: “Jeebi jeebi bss rjal shkbrii a5lii bnt tsheel.”
That was really sweet of him.
He was talking almost to himself. I wasn’t answering everything.
I interrupted him: “So, two relationships.”
Saud: “Yep.”
Me: “Hmm…”
Saud: “Bss w7da eli serious kant.”
I stayed quiet. I thought about it, and I realized it was none of my business. Leeh ahtam a9ln? It’s not like I like him or anything.
Me: “It’s none of my business.”
Saud while bending over to pick up a log: “La 3adi it’s fine I don’t mind.”
Me: “7seetk the player kind, bayn.”
Saud raised an eyebrow: “I’m not a player.”
I gave him the yeah sure look.
Me: “Sure you're not.”
Saud smiled: “I’m not. Shswii law elbnat y7boni.”
Me: “Oh get over yourself yl m’3ror.”
He laughed: “I'm just messing with you.”
Saud: "So... leeh ykrhnii 9deegk?"
Me: "Ma ykrhk, he just senses that you're trouble."
Saud: "I'm not! He probably hates me because he's in love with you."
I looked at him confused, and laughed: "Faisal has been my friend for more than 5 years, I would know if he was in love with me."
He said something under his breath but I couldn't tell what he said, so I decided to ignore him.
We were walking back to the camping site and I told the stupidest joke ever. I couldn't believe he laughed along.
Saud: "You're really something, you know?"
Me: "I'm not sure whether to take that as a complement or an insult.”
Saud: "How can anyone ever insult you? You're perfect."
I wanted to hide the fact that that was one of the cutest things anyone has ever said to me.
Me: “Oh, you’re good. The two relationships thing is becoming clear now.”
He laughed: “Y5ti t3wdi tgbleen el md7a.”
I acted like I was looking at something and I didn’t reply.
We got back to the camping site, and the tent was set up.
